My name is Miss Scruby and I am a student teacher from Northampton University. I have been with year two since the beginning of September and have enjoyed my time so far in this class very much.

They have created some amazing art pieces such as koala bears, didgeridoos and boomerangs. We have also been studying the states of Australia in our geography lessons. Our maths lessons have consisted of using place value and number lines. We will be moving onto using partitioning this coming week. In literacy, the children have been creating their own story maps, worked on a pursuasve writing piece and are now in the process of innovating the story of ‘The King and The Cockerel’.
